The innovative Ticketing & Time-Slot System avoids queues, shortens queuing times and enables a perfect visitor management through the defined time slots. Thus, the planned "PopUp Ticketing & Time Manager" project (short: PTTM) supports the social distancing strategy and helps companies and organisations to better manage their customers and visitors during daily operations. Das PTTM wird in der Basisversion als Open Source Lösung zur Verfügung gestellt. The PTTM is provided in the basic version as an open source solution.
The aim of the project is to develop a digital tool that provides free time slots for end users to take advantage of different services. Companies or organisations can define these time slots and make them available online. The time slots can be offered commercially (e.g.: museum visit of two hours) or non-commercially (e.g.: ticket to queue at a hardware store). An essential criteria for the success of PTTM is the adherence of endusers to the time slots they have purchased. The experts from the AIT Center for Technology Experience will develop persuasive design strategies for this relevant topic and implement them in a mobile solution together with MoonShiner. PTTM also offers the possibility to equip the basic version with an online payment function for the commercial time slot purchase. This is especially intended to support companies that do not have a digital payment solution. For the non-commercial time slot, PTTM can also be easily extended with a redeeming feature.
