There is a wide range of available solutions for crisis and disaster management. In this area, consumers are often faced with the challenge of finding a suitable solution for them from the multitude of offers. At the same time, there are specific or new tasks for which no solution is yet available. The Portfolio of Solutions (PoS) of the COOPERATIVE DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES Competence Unit of the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology offers a comprehensive online overview of a wide range of applications from which users* can select the most suitable solution for their problem. Using the Gap Explorer, experts and suppliers can simultaneously identify requirements that are currently not covered.

The Portfolio of Solutions (PoS) was developed within the European Driver+ project and is currently operated in cooperation with the Disaster Competence Network Austria. It brings together innovative solutions in the field of crisis and disaster management online in an interactive open source library.

With the PoS, various requirements and functions can be filtered so that, adapted to the respective structure and problem, the appropriate solution can be found. The program is free of charge for both the provider and the user. All stakeholders benefit from this, because users can share their experiences, which enables providers to further refine their programs. The aim of the platform is to support organisations in the field of crisis and disaster management in sharing information and applying it in order to disseminate best practice models across different sectors, organisations and countries so that as many people as possible can benefit in crisis and disaster situations.

The Portfolio of Solutions thus offers a platform for innovative solutions in crisis and disaster management for a wide variety of organizations. The PoS supports users on the way to the optimal solution by providing valid state-of-the-art information and networking with potential partners in industry and academia.
