The EU Horizon 2020 project "AWARD" (All Weather Autonomous Real logistics operations and Demonstrations) is investigating how automated transport vehicles can handle freight traffic in Europe in all weather conditions and sustainably improve the traffic situation - whether on roads, at airports or in ports. As a partner in AWARD, the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology is making a significant contribution to the development of safe automated transport systems.
To mark the successful completion of the "Automated Forklift for the Logistics and Transport Industry" use case, the AIT invites partners, colleagues and media representatives to the newly established AIT test area for autonomous work machines, the Large-Scale Robotics Lab, in Seibersdorf on May 7, 2024. Guests will have the opportunity to see the automated forklift in action and learn all about the project.
