Impressive flight and performance shows, Italian passion, Swiss precision and Austrian cutting-edge research - all this and much more was experienced by around 300,000 international visitors at AIPOWER from 2-3-Sept.2022 in Zeltweg/Styria.

Research at first hand

In addition to the large arena, AIT colleagues explained to interested visitors

  • state-of-the-art digital communication solutions for emergency forces, e.g. to create common operational pictures in realtime, and sensor solutions for efficient crisis and disaster management,
  • latest technologies for light metal processing, such as "Wire-Arc Additive Manufacturing" (WAM) - the wire-based 3D printing of lightweight aircraft parts made of aluminum and magnesium alloys.

We, at the AIT Center for Digital Safety & Security, the AIT Center for Vision, Automation & Control as well as LKR Leichtmetallkompetenzzentrum Ranshofen - thank you for visiting us.
