On the initiative of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Regions and Tourism (BMLRT), the Austrian Research Foundation (FFG) is currently organizing the "Gigabit Academy" as a discussion and cooperation platform for companies and developers in the field of 5G and gigabit applications. With the team of Principal Scientist Thomas Zemen, the Center for Digital Safety & Security at the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology has internationally acknowledged top competencies in this field. During a half-day workshop on May 24, 2022, our experts discussed the technological fundamentals and application perspectives with interested representatives of various companies at the AIT headquarters in Vienna. The focus was on safety-critical applications.
