Virtual symposium for assistance systems in production

20.10.2020
The 1st Human-Machine-Production Symposium took place in virtual form - here are a few impressions.

The Human-Machine Production Symposium took place on October 14th as part of the Future of Manufacturing Congress. Due to corona, the event was held in virtual form, but this did not affect the experience of the visitors in any way.

The 1st virtual "MMP" Symposium dealt with the following questions, among others: How can assistance systems in manufacturing improve quality, increase productivity and accelerate the introduction of new technologies? On the agenda were theoretical principles, practical applications and generally usable findings about assistance in the context of production.

The event was organized by WEKA Verlag in cooperation with Profactor and the AIT Center for Technology Experience as scientific partner. Sebastian Egger-Lampl reported in his presentation about the research project MMAssist II and Manfred Tscheligi, Head of Center for Technology Experience, gave a wrap-up of the day in the final discussion.
