On November 1 of last year, the largest association of fact-checking teams and researchers in the German-speaking world was founded, and now the websites faktengegenfakes.de and gadmo.eu are being launched, respectively, where all fact-checks of all members are accessible in bundled form. The project "GADMO - German-Austrian Digital Media Observatory" with the aim of combating disinformation and misinformation across national borders is being implemented in Austria by APA - Austria Presse Agentur and AIT Austrian Institute Of Technology.
Already so far the fact checks were to be found on the respective web pages of the organizations - since 23 February they are publicly available collected on the new on-line platform of GADMO faktengegenfakes.de / gadmo.eu, so that costumers can inform more simply comprehensively. The online archive goes back to November 2022, and new fact checks are added daily, which can be filtered by categories such as health, environment, economy and politics, as well as the respective fact check organization.
