Digital security and crisis-proof city

The last few months have sharpened our senses: for the safety of our citizens. And a crisis-proof city provides answers to the current challenges within and outside the Internet. We are proud of our "defences", but we are not resting on our laurels. We anticipate future threats and make our society ready for the challenges that await us.

Watch an expert talk on the topic "No digitisation without security, safety and privacy" with Helmut Leopold (AIT) and Markus Klemen (SBA Research), moderated by Stephanie Jakoubi (DigitalCity.Wien). This will be followed by a panel discussion chaired by Josef Pichlmayr with renowned speakers from the public sector, research and industry.

Thursday, 1.10.2020, 16:00 - 16:45, Bee Stage

AIT | The gender challenge in practice - a never-ending story?

At the Alpbach Technology Talks, the AIT produced the panel discussion "The gender challenge in practice - a never-ending story?", which focused on why too few young women still opt for a career in technical professions? What is the reason for this and how can female graduates be inspired to take up a technical profession? These are the questions discussed by ÖBB's diversity officer Traude Kogoj, AIT gender officer and Head of Center for Digital Safety & Security Helmut Leopold, Eva Wilhelm, former chairwoman of the AIT works council and Marie-Theres Raberger, Head of AIT Recruiting. The panel discussion will be moderated by Carina Felzmann, editor of the magazine Sheconomy.

Participation in the event is only possible via laptop/PC or desktop version. We recommend the installation of the MS Teams-Videoconferencing-Tool to achieve the highest possible quality.
