Priv.-Doz. Dr. DI Angela Sessitsch, Head of Competence Unit Bioresources, is once again part of the world's most cited researchers. For the analysis of the data company Clarivate Analytics, scientific papers have been analyzed that were published and quoted between 2008 and 2018.
Among the 6,216 listed scientists, 44 people are researching at least partly in Austria. In addition to her work at AIT, Angela Sessitsch is vice president of ÖGMBT - Austrian Association of Molecular Life Sciences and Biotechnology and teaches at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences (BOKU) in Vienna.
