Katja Fröhlich, who has been working in battery research at the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology since 2013, was nominated for the “Austria 24” award as “Austrian of the Year” in the research category by the daily newspaper “Die Presse”. As head of the “Sustainable & Smart Battery Manufacturing” team, she is particularly committed to making the production of batteries for e-cars more environmentally friendly.
