The Bio-Based Industries Joint Undertaking is a € 3.7 billion public-private partnership between the EU and industry. The two new BBI projects SUSBIND and SUSFERT bring together important Lower Austrian industrial and research partners.

The event "Bio-economy - Research and Innovation in Lower Austria" will take place on May 23 at the University and Research Center Tulln (UFT).

Bio-economy influences the entire value chain from raw materials to high-tech products. This makes the overarching integration and networking of research and industry necessary. At this event the latest Bio-Based-Industies (BBI) research projects, sustainable innovations and current developments in the markets are presented and discussed.

Together with guest of honor ,head of the provincial government lower austria, Mikl-Leitner the innovative topics of the future of the bioeconomy will be disseminated with the high-ranking panel of leading industrial and research institutions.

Organizer is the RTDS Group, the leading Austrian EU Consulting and Project Management SME together with the partners: AIT, BOKU, and WoodKPlus.
