After successfully passing the access examination and meeting further criteria, certification can be applied for in the respective subject areas. Prerequisite for the application for the access examination for certification is the participation in all modules of the further education program "Planning and Installation of Heat Pump Heating Systems" (formerly "Certified Heat Pump Installer or Planner") at AIT or in an equivalent further education program.

The certificate inspires consumer confidence and vouches for competent professionals to plan and install technically flawless and well-functioning systems. The duration of the certificate is limited to 3 years.

The application is made on the learning platform www.waermepumpe-weiterbildung.at under Personenzertifizierung - Zertifizierter Wärmepumpeninstallateur bzw. -planer.

Note: Currently, personal certification in the field of heat-pumps is not carried out in the accredited scheme, but the certificates "Certified heat-pump installer" and "-planner" enjoy a high reputation due to the high prestige of the certification body and because of the publication of the certified persons on www.waermepumpe-weiterbildung.at.
