The framework contract with the European Commission on "Foresight on Demand (FOD)" aimed to provide the necessary future-oriented knowledge for the preparation of the main strategic programmes of Horizon Europe and to support various EU institutions in tackling major future challenges (e.g. the medium to long-term consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic). FOD projects have been commissioned by various directorates and departments of the European Commission.
