Sustainability IN Flexibly Operated reNewable Industrial Energy System
To achieve current climate and energy policy goals, greenhouse gas emissions must be reduced and the share of renewable energy increased. This involves investments in new and renewable technologies in the medium to long term.
By combining optimization problems that are typically considered individually (optimized local energy supply, heat recovery and production planning), savings potentials and synergy effects are developed.
The SINFONIES approach is compared with existing methods using a reference process and scenario and the tapped potentials are quantified.
