The future of warfare and art, as well as future opportunities and challenges associated with socio-technical developments and trends such as garbage in space, micro-trackers, green online commerce, neural rights and four other exciting topics are highlighted in the latest edition of the Foresight & Technology Assessment Monitoring Report. The current issue, November 2021, already covers 130 future topics from different areas of society, which are regularly updated with each issue and are also available as infographics.
Since 2017, the AIT Center for Innovation Systems & Policy, together with the Institute of Technology Assessment (ITA) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, has been producing biannual overviews of socially relevant aspects of new future technologies for the Austrian Parliament. The topics are elaborated using foresight methods and technology assessment and are part of the external, scientific support service.
