385 projects, research papers, concepts and ideas were submitted to the VCÖ Mobility Award 2020, this year's motto of which is "Getting traffic on a climate course". The 60-member jury of experts met and evaluated the submissions. Now the VCÖ-Mobility Award 2020 enters the last evaluation phase, the online public voting, which is open until 27 July.
In the category "Research and scientific studies", four projects with AIT participation have been nominated:
mobalance - Possibilities of consciously shaping mobility by applying the sufficiency principle in the Austrian context (AIT as consortium leader)
KoopHubs - Networked logistics with social added value (AIT in consortium)
SUPERBE - Potentials of superblock concepts as a contribution to the planning of energy-efficient urban quarters (AIT in the consortium)
auto.bus - Seestadt - Vienna gets a driverless bus line (AIT as scientific project manager)
The winning project will be announced at a festive gala on 17 September.
