The Technology Platform Photovoltaics organizes the 15th annual meeting of the Austrian PV stakeholders from industry and science. This year’s partner country Switzerland will be represented by numerous experts who will showcase the relation with developments of our neighbor country. Three workshops are organized on the topics ‚ Photovoltaics & Architecture‘, ‚Photovoltaics in the City‘ and ‚Optimization of self-consumption of electricty in industry‘ and the first InnovationAWARD for ‚Building-integrated Photovoltaics‘ is started. The pre-event on November 12 allows an insight in the Schönbrunn giraffe house, where an integrated PV-plant and a gravel storage have been installed. The AIT is part of the organisation committee, and will hold lectures, e.g. on the project Syn(En)ergy – Integration of PV in open city areas. On November 13, a guided tour through the AIT thin-film laboratories at TechGate will be organised.
