The Digital Insight Lab (DIL) research group won the Digital Humanities Award 2016 in the category "Best DH Data Visualization" with the software "Peripleo", thus ensuring the next success story within the framework of the Pelagios project.
Peripleo is an interactive search engine that makes it possible to find a variety of geotemporal data and enables user to discover various historical content - be it texts, archeological information or pictures.
But not only the work for Peripleo was honored. The annotation platform "Recogito" was also nominated for the "Best DH Tool or Suite Tools" award. The platform has just been released and is already recording a lively user growth.
