Network of Research Infrastructures for Earthquake Risk Assessment and Mitigation
Within the framework of NERA, the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology has been engaged in field tests to minimize model uncertainties and improve calculations of earthquake risks. Guidelines for test execution are necessary to harmonize and disseminate the dynamic test methods. Drafts for this were developed in the project framework for ambiente (natural vibration) and forced building excitation, such as with the Mobile Seismic Simulator (MoSeS).
