The AIT Thermophysics Laboratory has continuously expanded its measurement capabilities over the past 50 years to include extreme temperature conditions. Today, the limits range from liquid nitrogen temperatures (aerospace engineering) to 1600°C (e.g. materials development, power engineering). The measurement methods are applied in accordance with current standards and can also be tailored to specific requirements if necessary. The raw data obtained are processed into physical parameters, including a detailed uncertainty analysis.
