As Spokesperson of the Management Board of the AIT, Brigitte Bach is responsible for the strategic positioning of the research institute as well as for external relations and the product portfolio.
Physicist Brigitte Bach (57) played a key role in the development and strategic positioning of energy research at AIT from 1999 to 2018, most recently as Head of the Center for Energy. From 2018 on, she was Head of Telecommunications, Electromobility and New Business Areas at Wien Energie, after which she worked as Director of Salzburg AG.
As Scientific Director of the AIT, Andreas Kugi shapes the scientific profile in the key research areas and is responsible for the successful positioning in research and technology development at a top international level.
Andreas Kugi (55) is Professor of Complex Dynamic Systems at the Automation and Control Institute (ACIN) at TU Wien and, together with Andreas Vrabl, has headed the AIT Centers for Vision, Automation & Control since 2017. Kugi is a member of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) and the German Academy of Science and Engineering (acatech).
Alexander Svejkovsky, Managing Director of Finance, Processes and Administration, is responsible for all business matters, real estate and digital infrastructure and is also the interface with the public sector.
Alexander Svejkovsky (50) has been CFO of AIT for many years and has a wealth of experience and deep knowledge of the domestic RTI scene. At the same time, he distinguished himself at AIT by handling many projects – for example in the end-to-end digitalization of all business processes.
