AIT is an applied Research and Technology Organisation (RTO) and we act as an intersectoral “bridge” by connecting basic research and the usage of new technologies for the industry and thereby paving the way for commercialization - transferring these emerging technologies into specific applications up to demonstrators and prototyping.
This is why our PhD programme also offers training and education for exploitation concepts, entrepreneurship and patents. Together with our partners accent Gründerservice GmbH and tecnet equity NÖ GmbH, we conduct the AIT Poster Award each year. This is an excellent opportunity for our young researchers to present scientific results focusing on the possibilities of economic use.
In cooperation with AWS - Austria Wirtschaftsservice Gesellschaft mbH and internationally experienced experts, we offer trainings in entrepreneurship.
