We develop and operate knowledge-based systems supporting patients as well as physicians at the therapy optimization process. In addition, special modules for algorithm development and biosignal processing are developed and operated.
Over the past years, the research group eHealth&AAL has been built up its own infrastructure for sophisticated and rapid development, optimization and validation of algorithms for biosignal processing.
The knowledge-based systems use domain-specific rule bases enabling automatic generation of individual notifications and feedbacks, alarms, events, status-reports and decision support. A concrete manifestation of our knowledge-based systems is the chronical illness : individuell Health Advisor (chiliHEAD) which is already integrated in our therapy management solutions.
