The AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, together with partners, organised four specialist events on the digitalisation of municipalities. The aim was to raise awareness of the digital transformation at the municipal level and to present municipalities with concrete tools, strategies and funding opportunities for their digitalisation journey.
As the central point of contact for the EU-wide Smart Communities Network, AIT offers support to cities and municipalities in jointly shaping the path to digital maturity. The events highlighted how targeted networking, open data platforms and digital twins can create sustainable added value for local authorities.
