AIT was strongly represented at the ICT Security Conference

30.09.2024

On September 17-18, 2024, the ICT Security Conference took place in Vienna at the Congress Center.

The aim of the BMLV's flagship conference was once again to provide further training for IT security experts from various fields. The ICT Security Conference also offered participants the opportunity to exchange ideas and make contacts across disciplines.

The AIT Austrian Institute of Technology was once again present as a partner with a stand. Florian Skopik and Markus Wurzenberger, both Senior Scientists at the Center for Digital Safety & Security, gave a presentation on “Advanced Cyber Situational Awareness for Cyber Defense” and Wolfgang Hotwagner, Research Engineer at the Center for Digital Safety & Security, gave an overview of cyber attacks: “AttackMate: A modern open-source tool for automating cyberattacks”.

At the AIT stand, the topics of cyber security and pentesting were presented and discussed with interested visitors.
