For the sixth year in a row, Priv.-Doz. Dr. DI Angela Sessitsch, Head of Competence Unit Bioresources, is among the most cited researchers worldwide. In addition to her role at AIT, Angela Sessitsch is also Vice President of ÖGMBT - Austrian Association of Molecular Life Sciences and Biotechnology. Clarivate Analytics' analysis used scientific papers published and cited between 2012 and 2022. Thus, the 6,849 listed scientists from 67 countries, a total of 43 from all disciplines in Austria, rank in the top percent in their scientific field.
