Automated optical surface inspection for quality control is an integral part of industrial manufacturing processes. The AIT Austrian Institute of Technology supports companies in being internationally competitive while at the same time meeting the social and economic requirements for sustainability, resource and production efficiency.
With xposure:photometry, the AIT experts have developed a high-performance method - 600 million points per second - for inline quality inspection, which they have now presented to experts at the Vision 2021 world's leading trade fair in Stuttgart. The innovation was among the top leading technologies in this year's Vision Awards.
