PASSAT supports Austrian companies in implementing the Digital Product Passport to promote sustainable growth through circular economy practices and innovative production processes. By providing reliable product data throughout the entire lifecycle, the DPP enables waste reduction, longer product use, and the development of new business models.
The project develops practical solutions, regulatory recommendations, and training materials, and implements pilot projects in the fields of textiles, electronics, and the ski industry. In close collaboration with industry, research, and political stakeholders, PASSAT lays the foundation for the widespread adoption of DPPs in Austria – fostering greater sustainability and economic success.
