#IDSF25 IS UPCOMING: JOIN OUR GLOBAL DIALOGUE ON DIGITAL SECURITY

In less than 2 weeks, the 4th International Digital Security Forum (IDSF) Vienna will open its doors with a top-tier programme discussing the major challenges of digital transformation
 

Vienna (AIT) – In 10 days the 4th International Digital Security Forum (IDSF) will open its doors at MuseumsQuartier Viennafrom June 4 to 6, 2025, the Austrian capital will be the center for global discourse on digital security, technological sovereignty and international cyber resilience. Under the motto "Balancing Sovereignty and Solidarity in the Digital Age", #IDSF25 will examine new security risks at the interface of AI, quantum technology and biotechnology, the role of tech diplomacy in an increasingly digitalized world and the transformation of global cyber security strategies, particularly in geopolitically sensitive regions. Also, it will address digital resilience, the protection of critical infrastructure, trustworthy data spaces and human-centered digital governance and data sovereignty for peace and security, as well as the impact of disinformation and digital manipulation on democracies.

  • Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 09:45 am (all-day): Social Science Track "Sovereignty and Solidarity in the Digital Age - a critical View", organized by Vienna Centre for Societal Security (VICESSE)
  • Thursday, June 5, 2025, 9:45 am - 11:00 am: Workshop by Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (VCDNP) on “Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security of High-Risk Critical Infrastructure”
  • Thursday, June 5, 2025, 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm: Exclusive film screening: “How to Build a Truth Engine“ with introductory words by Austrian filmmaker and journalist Friedrich Moser
  • Wednesday and Thursday, from 3:15 pm: Exhibitor Innovation Pitches by innovative companies (SMEs), leading IT organizations and research institutions.

Following the great success of IDSF´s last edition with over 500 participants and more than 100 speakers from 35 countries, the organizers have created a top-tier programme, aimed at international experts and representatives from the fields of diplomacy, politics, business and science.
