Experts from all over Austria and the EU took part in the event organised by Virtual Vehicle Research GmbH to exchange knowledge and present the latest findings that enable effective and, above all, fluid work and interaction with modern technologies. The areas of application focussed on were automotive, mobility and healthcare.
Alexander Mirnig (AIT) was an invited expert speaker and presented results from the RIAMO research project, which were developed by the research team around Ulrike Ritzinger and Martin Reinthaler (AIT), in the lecture "Automated On-Demand Public Transport - Optimisation strategies for shuttle services" and then led a workshop on "On-Demand Mobility - Challenges for end-users and implementation".
Thanks to the organisers, especially Paolo Pretto and Rainer Schruth, for the successful organisation and for bringing together important players in this highly topical interdisciplinary field of research.
