Digitalisation is becoming increasingly important both in the public sector and in the business landscape. Austria and Slovenia share a centuries-old administrative culture that has been completely transformed by new technologies within two decades. How can the digital transformation succeed and what can we learn from each other? What are the elements of a successful digital strategy and how can it be measured?
These questions were discussed on 23 October 2024 at DigiDay in Ljubljana, Slovenia, which was jointly organised by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO) and aed - Agency for Economic Cooperation and Development together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Slovenia and other partners. The core of this event was an interactive exchange of the Austrian-Slovenian e-gov community, discussion and the presentation of best practices. Mario Drobics, Head of Competence Unit Cooperative Digital Technologies at AIT, took part in the discussion and presented best practices and cooperation opportunities in cyber security and AI.
