The Digital Health Team of the AIT Center for Health and Bioresources and the Medical University of Vienna (MUW) are conducting an online survey on the donation of electronic health data as part of the Smart FOX research project. The aim of the study is to record the perspectives and needs of the population in order to sustainably improve health research and care in Austria.
Health research in the age of fragmented data
The integration and utilisation of electronic health data holds great potential for medical research and care. However, the fragmentation of health data is a particular hurdle in Austria. This is precisely where the Smart FOX project comes in: It investigates how citizens can donate their health data securely and confidentially for research.
Actively involving citizens
The survey offers all interested parties the opportunity to share their opinions on the opportunities and challenges of health data donation. By participating, citizens make a valuable contribution to the development of trustworthy and efficient methods for data donation.
Advancing health research together
The findings from the survey will help to create the basis for sustainable, patient-centred solutions. By actively involving the population, innovative approaches can be developed that strengthen both research and medical care in the long term.
The survey is German language, anonymous, takes about 10 minutes and can be cancelled at any time. Interested parties can participate via the following link: https://survey.tech-experience.at/index.php/517484?lang=de
