Certified BIM technician or planner

Due to higher demands, construction projects must be realized faster and more cost-effectively while maintaining the same level of quality. This is possible if all participants, including architects, structural engineers, building services engineers and other specialist planners, use modern and integrated planning methods. This bundles the large volumes of data and different levels of information that are common today and reduces the risk of errors as far as possible from the outset, which is particularly necessary in complex planning. This requires BIM Building Information Modeling, a sustainable working method for the planning, construction and operation of buildings.

BIM is based on the interdisciplinary and active networking of all parties involved throughout the entire life cycle of a building, whereby the planning and construction processes can be made more efficient and transparent with the help of digital, three-dimensional data models, and relevant influencing factors and costs can be determined even before the actual start of construction.

Since this year, this modular training offers compact knowledge from practitioners for practitioners and makes you as an expert through a basic understanding of BIM and the know-how for an innovative technological implementation fit for their first, independent and efficient planning according to the latest BIM standards.

The individual training modules, consisting of a basic, practical and in-depth modules, build on each other and can also be booked separately depending on interest and time possibilities. The basic module offers three selective focal points: architecture, building technology (MEP engineering) and civil engineering (reinforcement and formwork design).

After positive completion of the basic and practical module, there is the possibility of being certified as a certified BIM technician or planner on the basis of defined criteria.
