HVAC Positioner is an Augmented Reality (AR) application that enables users to virtually position heat pumps, chillers and other HVAC equipment in a real-world environment and assess their acoustic impact.
2. Personal Data
HVAC Positioner does not require users to create an account or register.
HVAC Positioner does not intentionally collect personal information such as:
- name,
- postal address,
- telephone number,
- email address,
- payment information.
According to the current application configuration, no user data is collected and no user data is shared with third parties.
3. Camera Access
HVAC Positioner uses the camera of the mobile device to provide its Augmented Reality functionality. The camera is required to visualize and position HVAC equipment within the user's real environment.
Camera data is processed solely for displaying the Augmented Reality view and related functionality of the application.
AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH does not intentionally store, transfer, sell, or share camera images or video recordings generated during the use of the application.
4. Data Storage
The App does not intentionally create personal user profiles.
Any application settings or temporary data required for operation may be stored locally on the user's device.
5. Data Sharing
AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH does not sell, rent, disclose, or share personal data with third parties.
No personal data collected through HVAC Positioner is transferred to third parties for advertising, marketing, or profiling purposes.
6. Third-Party Services
The application is distributed via Google Play and operates on the Android platform. Standard Android or Google services necessary for installation, updates, security, and application operation may apply according to their respective privacy policies.
7. Data Security
AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH applies reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the application and any information processed by it.
However, no electronic system can guarantee absolute security.
