High temperature heat pumps
Industrial heat pumps, especially high temperature heat pumps with grid temperatures higher than 100°C, are a central element in the future energy system. In order to increase the use of high temperature heat pumps in industry, this project will provide an overview of the technological possibilities up to the acquisition process of high temperature heat pumps. This should increase the understanding of the technology and its potential and reduce existing market barriers.
Funding
This project is part of the IEA research cooperation on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and and Technology.
