With a wide range of expertise in computer vision and multi modal analytics, AIT contributes to the field of public security by providing tailored solutions for perimeter security, multi-media intelligence, immersive training, and identity management.

The DSAI team offers digital cutting-edge technologies with the aim to simplify the end-user’s work. These technologies are based on extensive knowhow and own IPR from many national and international projects, either based on commercial contracts or funded projects. 

Perimeter Security/Surveillance 

Many stakeholders have sites with sensitive buildings surrounded by large open areas that require additional protection beyond traditional perimeter fencing and alarm systems. Intruders may sneak into these areas, and current security measures are not sufficient to detect such intrusions. 

Our Smart Multi-Sensor Platform integrates AI-based computer vision algorithms for intelligent detection and tracking of specific objects and environmental understanding. 

  • Improved security measures for sensitive infrastructures (e.g. borders) and assets including enhanced detection of intruders. 
  • Potential integration into the overall security system with several camera systems. 
  • Enhanced situational awareness for security personnel. 

 

Multi-Media Intelligence 

Our solutions help law enforcement agencies monitor and analyse online platforms and social media channels, providing valuable insights into disinformation trends, fraudulent patterns, and crypto assets forensics. 

We develop AI-supported processes for data diagnostics tailored to the needs of public security organizations. Our solutions provide a more efficient alternative to current manual processes, which often are decentralized, isolated, and not optimized for the real-time processing of large volumes of data.

Immersive Training 

Our VR/XR-based technologies offer new possibilities to train first responders, the military, or civil experts for dangerous situations, crisis areas, or disasters. Our Collaborative Large Area Training Solution is developed to offer extended training possibilities for situations that are too expensive or dangerous to be simulated in real life. Public authorities need a safe way to collaboratively navigate in areas (e.g. destroyed by natural disasters or large accidents). Our solution relies on Mixed Reality (MR) glasses and real-time, AI-based environmental analysis via the sensors of the MR glasses.

Identity Management 

By using advanced computer vision algorithms and AI-based systems (e.g. LLMs), we can help law enforcement agencies to identify suspects more quickly and accurately. Our expertise in contactless biometrics (e.g. fingerprints, face) can provide secure and convenient access control without the need for physical tokens or cards, making the process more streamlined, hygienic, and efficient.
