European Researchers' Night

Nov 27

The European Researchers’ Night is a mega-event that takes place every year at the same time in many European cities.
The main aim of the event is to give every citizen the opportunity to actively participate in science. Children and young people in particular should be encouraged to experience and understand science during the event. The different exhibition booths and workshops offer an excellent opportunity to look behind the scenes of research departments and to get in touch with outstanding scientists.

The AIT is also participating in the European Researchers' Night.

The Center for Technology Experience presents the H2020 project SHOTPROS. The SHOTPROS project aims to investigate the influence of psychological and context-dependent human factors on the decision-making and action behavior of police officers under stress and in high-risk operational situations in order to achieve better training of police officers. SHOTPROS will develop a virtual reality (VR) solution to experimentally assess the extent to which these factors influence behavior.
