Studies on cybersecurity and blackout presented at the Austrian Parliament

As part of the project "Foresight and Technology Assessment for the Austrian Parliament", the AIT under the direction of the Center for Innovation Systems & Policy and the Institute of Technology Assessment have prepared studies on the topics of cybersecurity (December 2021) and security of supply/blackout (January 2022). The authors of the studies presented the results on Friday and were available to answer questions from interested mandataries and club staff. Colleagues from the Center for Energy and the Center for Digital Safety & Security also worked on the project.

"Both studies provide an overview of current developments, the need for action as well as technical and social aspects," says Anna Wang, project manager of the Cyber Security Project. They can be downloaded as PDF files from the Parliament's website and are also available as digital reports in graphic form on the specialist information page.
