The AIT City Intelligence Lab
Under the motto "Austria makes sense", Austria is presentling itself as a multifaceted country at the World Expo in Dubai from October 2021 to March 2022.
The AIT was able to hold its own in front of the top-class jury of experts when submitting over 140 groundbreaking and innovative products and projects from Austrian companies, institutions and universities with the City Intelligence Lab (CIL). The jury calls the submission a "perfect example of Austria's achievements in finding solutions for a better and sustainable future."
With the City Intelligence Lab, AIT Center for Energy is an essential part of the i-Lab at the heart of the Austria Pavilion: As part of the World Expo, CIL City Intelligence Lab, an interactive platform for exploring new forms and technologies for urban development of the future, will host two days of workshops and presentations on 'Sustainable Future Urban Planning'.
Key technologies such as augmented reality (AR) as well as artificial intelligence (AI) will be used to create complex simulations and parametric designs and bring them to life interactively with workshop participants from industry, research and government.
The second interactive workshop at the Austrian Pavillion, experiencing the future of sustainable urban planning will take place on 24th March 2022 with two timeslots:
- 24th March 2022, 3 p.m.
- 24th March 2022, 5 p.m.
