Reinforcement Learning Enhanced Digital Twins for Radiation Monitoring System Computer Security

REFRACT focuses on the security of a wide range of Radiation Detection Systems (RDS) commonly found at air and seaports, nuclear facilities, border crossings, major public events, and even in remote areas for nation-wide environmental radiation monitoring. Analysis of RDS architectures for various use cases, as well as single devices is carried out to enumerate security weaknesses and vulnerabilities. The project aims to highlight areas where RDS infrastructures can be strengthened and provide guidance on the secure storage and operation of critical RDSs.
