The AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, in cooperation with the Technology Collaboration Programme on Heat Pumping Technologies of the International Energy Agency (HPT TCP by IEA), is organising the 15th IEA Heat Pump Conference 2026 in Vienna. Under the theme ‘Decarbonisation through Innovation’, it offers experts from research, industry, finance and politics a unique international platform for exchanging ideas on the latest developments and applications in the field of heat pump technologies. After 42 years, the conference is returning to Austria and will be the most important event of its kind in Europe in 2026.

About the 15th IEA Heat Pump Conference
This unique international conference has been held every three years since 1984. The upcoming conference will be Europe's leading event where industry, researchers, investors and policy makers will discuss the latest advances in the field of heat pumps. The conference programme is designed by the Scientific Committee of the conference, consisting of representatives from the National Organising Committee (NOC), International Organising Committee (IOC), the Heat Pump Centre, the Regional Coordinators and the Scientific Advisors and approved by the International Organising Committee (IOC).
