On August 27 and 28, 2025, the inno.x SUMMERCAMP took place for the fourth time – this time with around 100 participants from a wide range of industries. As always, the focus was on exchange, networking, and getting to know new innovation managers, complemented by exciting cross-industry discussions on current innovation topics.
Day 1: ÖAMTC Headquarters
The first day gave participants the opportunity to network and share experiences from a wide range of industries. In the inspiring setting of the ÖAMTC headquarters, the foundations were laid for two intensive days full of exchange and new ideas.
Day 2: AIT Austrian Institute of Technology
The second day took place at the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology. After a welcome address by Helmut Leopold, Head of the Center for Digital Safety & Security, participants gained exciting insights into the many opportunities for collaboration with the AIT.
Three sessions focused on highly topical issues:
- Collaboration with the research community using the example of the European AI initiative AI FACTORY – presented by Mario Drobics (AIT)
- Cyber security in the age of AI – with Martin Stierle (AIT), expertly moderated by Hannes Kieberger (#itonics).
- Collaboration with startups – exciting perspectives from Natalie Hammerich (#FREQUENTIS), Philipp Kranewitter (#GreinerInnoventures), Fernando T. Cavalheiro Garrido (#WienEnergie), and Peter Blahowsky (AIT), moderated by Franziska Hecht (#TheVentury).
Finally, Alexander Svejkovsky, Managing Director of AIT, spoke about courage and confidence as key drivers for a successful future.
The inno.x SUMMERCAMP 2025 has once again demonstrated how valuable cross-industry exchange is. Participants not only made new contacts, but also gained fresh perspectives and inspiration—a strong foundation for tomorrow's innovation work.
