The DigiCell consortium, of which the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology is a member, invites you to the 4th public DigiCell Workshop on 1 July 2026. The online event will focus on modern approaches to battery modelling – from data-driven machine learning to physics-based simulation methods for battery cells, battery systems and production processes.
The EU DigiCell project is developing digital and AI-based methods to make the manufacture of battery cells more sustainable, efficient and resource-friendly. The aim is to optimise production processes, drive forward new battery technologies and improve the performance of future battery systems.
As a project partner, the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology contributes its extensive expertise in the fields of battery research, material characterisation and sustainable energy systems. Key areas of focus include the analysis of ageing processes, innovative cell chemistries and the development of sustainable next-generation battery concepts.
Workshop topics
- Machine learning and data-driven battery modelling
