How the energy transition works: 350 students at LET'S TECH Day in Vienna

Out of the classroom and into technology: around 350 pupils aged 10 and up took a deep dive into the technologies for the energy transition at the third LET'S TECH Day on May 16, 2025 in Vienna. The winners of the LET'S TECH video competition were also honored at the event.
 

Out of the classroom and into technology: around 350 pupils aged 10 and up took a deep dive into the technologies for the energy transition at the third LET'S TECH Day on May 16, 2025 in Vienna. The winners of the LET'S TECH video competition were also honored at the event.

Hands-on technology and lots of interesting facts about the energy transition: There was great enthusiasm at the numerous hands-on stations and various workshops at the LET'S TECH Day of the OVE Austrian Electrotechnical Association. Role models gave the pupils an insight into their areas of work and answered many interested questions. OVE Secretary General Peter Reichel: “To restructure our energy system, we need innovative technologies and qualified specialists who know how to use them. There are countless opportunities for young people to play an active role in shaping the future. We are delighted that we were able to give so many students an insight into our exciting industry at LET'S TECH Day.”
