ICI:Microscopy for 3D high-performance inline quality inspection was awarded as a top innovation 2023 by inVISION. The 3D microscope was developed by the High-Performance Vision Systems research group at the Center for Vision, Automation and Control.
The trade journal inVISION is the leading German-language journal for image processing, embedded vision, and measurement technology. This time, the focus was on high-speed, measurement technology and AI.
ICI: Microscopy is one of the ten products or solutions that were awarded for particularly innovative technologies or operating concepts. Solutions that should be among the top innovations, enable more accurate, better, or easier inspections.
ICI:Microscopy is the high-resolution variant of Inline Computational Imaging (ICI) technology. This enables inline 3D microscopy with up to 60 million 3D points/s. Scanning speeds of up to 12mm per second can be achieved with a lateral scanning of 700nm/pixel and a depth noise of 1µm.
