The SCIENTIFIC VISION DAYS are the established lecture series of the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology and its partners. Experts from science and applied research present cutting-edge technologies in the field of machine vision.
Together with the Industrial Vision Days, the Scientific Vision Days lecture series forms the lecture forum of the VISION trade fair and offers a platform for exchange between leading minds from science and industry.
We invite all experts in machine vision, industrial inspection and non-destructive testing to present their latest research results and innovations.
This includes
- 2D and 3D vision
- High-speed imaging
- Computational Imaging
- Hyperspectral imaging
- Deep learning and the latest datasets
- Innovative and emerging industrial applications
- Developments and trends in standardization, interfaces and new applications
- Methods for testing vision systems
- Machine vision theories and applications
- Discussions on current challenges and future developments
- and many more.
The duration of the presentations will be a maximum of 15 minutes.
The presentations will take place during the exhibition days, from October 8 to 10, 2024, approximately from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at the AIT booth 8C50.
The language of the presentations will be English.

Scientific Vision Days Program 2024
This year's topics include 3D vision, high-speed imaging, inline computational imaging, deep learning, and testing of vision systems.
