That was the ARTTEC Finale

Virtual talk says goodbye to Artist in Residence Judith Fegerl

ARTTEC at AIT – that is the name of the art programme with which we have been bringing international artists to our headquarter since 2018.

After almost two years of successful collaboration, we have now bid farewell to our artist in residence Judith Fegerl with a virtual talk. Since June 2019, two exhibitions by Judith could be admired in our foyer – the exhibits were partly created in our labs.

Also, ARTTEC at AIT will be extended: In 2022, the artist duo Process Studio will dedicate themselves to the topic of Artificial Intelligence in cooperation with our Center for Vision, Automation & Control (Competence Unit Complex Dynamical Systems).

At the talk, Judith was joined by our Scientific Managing Director, Wolfgang Knoll, the Rector of the University of Applied Arts, Gerald Bast, and the head of the project, Head of Corporate and Marketing Communications, Michael H. Hlava

The aim of ARTTEC is to show the common ground between art, technology, and science. In doing so, we rely on the support of professionals – our partners include the Ars Electronica in Linz, MAK – Museum of Applied Arts and the University of Applied Arts.

Many thanks to Sarah Hellwagner from the agency art:phalanx, who curates ARTTEC for us.
