The YEAR Annual Conference is an event where young, early-career researchers gather to improve their extra disciplinary skills, network and socialise! This year, it will take place on the 11th & 12th of June, with the weekend prior (9th & 10th) as a social weekend, where attendees get to know each other on a fun and informal basis. The conference will take place here - in Vienna, on AIT premises!
So, what is the scope of this year’s Annual Conference? The interactive format will provide you with the opportunity to work on your pitch technique and to develop ideas with your peers. The ideation workshop will be facilitated by professional trainers and is thematically focused on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (https://sustainabledevelopment.un.org/sdgs). Additionally, we invited the NGO Sense about Science (www.senseaboutscience.org) to hold a workshop on “public engagement” - on how to involve the public, and communicate your findings!
