Conference on mobile applications for immigrants’ integration. Final event of the MASELTOV project
March 16-17, 2015 – London (OU premises in Camden)
The event aims to create an opportunity to share experiences and ideas among practitioners and researchers working on mobile applications to facilitate the integration of immigrants in EU and abroad.
Given the nature of the event, special attention will be given to the MASELTOV project, its results and exploitation perspectives, including the main challenges faced during this 3-year long 5M€ venture. This project, co-funded by the European Commission under the 7th Framework Program, studied, developed and tested a prototype integrated App, which aims to address integration related needs of newly arrived immigrants in Europe. Other organisations addressing similar topics and/or target groups, as well as potentially interested stakeholders (public administrations, NGOs, private companies etc.) will be invited to present and share their projects, experiences and needs during the conference.
