The Urban Europe Research Alliance (UERA) stimulated a dialogue between city representatives and researchers of the UERA on the status of collaboration between science and policy in urban research and how it can be improved. During the meeting on 8th and 9th of November 2018, 38 participants from 31 European research organisations have been present next to selected cities and city networks from Europe.
The meeting also prepared the ground for successful joint research and innovation projects in the future addressing the needs of cities. Future projects and future events of the UERA are available at https://jpi-urbaneurope.eu/stakeholders-partners/uera/
The event took place on the premises of the AIT being a member of the UERA since 2016.
